Animal behavior

OVERVIEW

This programme provides an in-depth understanding of animal behaviour and welfare. You will learn to observe, interpret, and influence animal behaviour through science-based methods. The course prepares you for work in animal training, welfare organisations, and educational settings.

LEARNING OUTCOME
  • Understand behavioural theories and communication in animals

  • Analyse and modify behaviour using positive reinforcement methods

  • Promote animal welfare and ethical handling

  • Apply behaviour knowledge in clinical, domestic, and wild-animal contexts

STUDY START

This program runs for 6 months and offers many engaging lectures. The online course can be completed within half a year, but there is room for individual adjustments. The structure allows everyone to participate, even those who are working. In addition, our lecturers organize interactive sessions where students can ask questions, join study groups, and engage in discussions with both instructors and fellow students. Lectures are held via Thinkific and typically take place over two days each month, included in the online curriculum.

If you are unable to attend a session due to illness or other reasons, you won`t miss out- all of the meetings are recorded and made available for later viewing.
